Full Stack Mobile Developer (React /Java) | Contract

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Write clean, scalable, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Ensure applications deliver a responsive, reliable, and high-quality user experience across multiple devices and operating systems.

UI/UX Implementation

• Translate high-fidelity Figma designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes into pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Ensure applications adhere to platform-specific design standards, including Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design principles.

Backend Development & API Integration

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java to support mobile application functionality.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between mobile applications and backend systems.
• Support database integration and ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data processing.

Performance & Quality

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness across mobile platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high development standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Solid hands-on experience developing cross-platform applications using React Native.
• Proficiency in Java for backend development and API implementation.
• Solid experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
• Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and experience implementing designs from Figma.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning, debugging, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git and Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
